Trails at Pigeon Lake Provincial
Park and Rundle's Mission have been packed and tracked.With
temperatures moderating somewhat and a dusting of fresh
snow overnight, ski conditions are looking very good.
It's going to be a great day for being out in Winter's
Saturday, November 30th
trails in the Pigeon Lake Area are in great shape at the
moment. Due to the expected dump of snow on Sunday/Monday,
grooming will resume sometime next week.
It has been brought to my attention that there is a lot of
doggy doo on the ski trails. Please remember that no matter
where you may be, it's your responsibility to pick up and
dispose of your pets leavings. I'll try and arrange for
some kind of doggy doo bag dispenser at the trailhead so we
won't be caught empty handed. Thanks in advance for your

Trails at Rundles Mission and
Pigeon Lake Provincial Park have been packed and tracked.
Roads and parking area have been cleared and ski conditions
are excellent as long as it doesn't get too warm. Please
remember to park in the Moose Group Campsite and not on the
Sunday, November 10th
Welcome back to a fabulous new
season of Cross Country Skiing at Pigeon Lake!
Tracks at the Park have been set and the conditions this
morning are very good.
Fortunately we're back to the usual routine….. the parking
area is cleared at the Moose Group Campsite ( please do not
park on the road anymore) and we're back
to our usual 10k with the trailhead near by.
Rundle's Mission has been recently mowed, snowed, packed
and tracked as well. Skiing conditions are very good.
The snow cover is still very thin but all things
considered, we're off to a great start this year. Regular
grooming and tracksetting will resume as snow conditions
